Serial Number: Polished Off
You get what you see. The case has been polished and the fixed strap bars removed. The rare reference 5517 is still clearly visible between the lugs, but the serial number has been polished off (not by me). One lug has been drilled through in preparation for a spring bar.
I do not have the case back and I don't know the original serial/issue number.
You might be able to trade this case in at a Rolex Service Center for a brand new replacement / service case for reference 5517, but I can't guarantee it.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story:
My price: $5k o.b.r.o
The case is currently in New England (USA) and a face-to-face transaction in Western MA / Northern CT (USA) is encouraged. Otherwise, fully insured shipping within the U.S. would be $35. For International buyers, shipping will be at cost and I would be happy to let the buyer choose the shipping method. (To European destinations, I could possibly ship the watch next month from within the EU.)
3 day return policy if the case is not as described or does not match the pictures. Shipping fees are not refundable and the watch would have to be returned in the same condition as received.
