      This Rolex Submariner 16800 is an extremely full set containing both inner and outer boxes, original matching guarantee certificate, three Rolex service certificates, original matching hang tag, original chronometer tag, 1000ft Rolex anchor, translation booklet, your rolex oyster booklet and Submariner booklet.
      Oh and the case back sticker!

      The Rolex 16800 Submariner was seen as a transitional model that fell between the long running Rolex 1680 and Rolex 16610 models and introduced a number of new developments.

      Firsts for this Submariner were a new calibre COSC quick date movement, sapphire crystal, gloss dial with white gold surrounds and increased depth rating to 1000ft.


      Dial & Hands: Excellent gloss dial that has faded to a dark grey/charcoal colour and looks matte. Matching creamy tritium hands and hour plots.

      Case & Caseback: 9.4m serial sold in August 1986 with all numbers clear between the lugs. Rolex caseback is correctly stamped 16800. Thick case that has had a previous light polish by Rolex so is in good condition. Mark free bezel insert that has also faded to lovely dark grey/charcoal with matching tritium pip/pearl that has small crack in it.

      Bracelet: Very good correctly dated Rolex 93150 oyster bracelet with only a very little stretch.

      Movement: Original Rolex serviced 3035 movement in very good condition.

      Box & Papers: This watch has everything see above! A real collectors piece.
