      Here we have a beautiful mk5 Red Sub from 1972.

      The iconic date submariner comes in no more prestigious look than that of the early Rolex red submariner.

      A 3m serial number dates this watch to 1972 and the inner caseback is stamped iv72 also to confirm this. Serial numbers clearly visible between the lugs.

      The dial is in wonderful condition free from marks and chips with lovely creamy yellow hour plots and matching hands and insert pip/pearl.

      A lovely clean case free from dings and noticeable scratches and a tight later 93150 bracelet to keep this piece firmly on your wrist!

      Original non-hacking Rolex 1570 movement keeping good time. Original open 6s silver date wheel.

      All in all a very nice red submariner that ticks all the boxes.
