7924 Tudor Big Crown
4th Quarter, 1958
292XXX Serial number.
Very honest and very rare watch.
Original and seemingly unpolished (except for a shirt sleeve I suspect) case and thick lugs. All numbers visible. Inside casback stamped IV 1958.
Original gilt 'swiss' faded & tropical dial. As you can see from the scans this is a 7924 dial, not the smaller 7928 dial you see in so many 7924's.
At some point, this watch must have taken on water as the dial has a very even and beautiful texture to it.
390 movement as new and was fully serviced in February 2009. Service papers and warranty from Mr. Bob Ridley.
If you like the watch in these scans, then you would love it in person. Scans don't do it justice.
