FS- 1972 USA 12 link rivet 20 mm stretch band off of 5512. Near mint

I have an original 1972 USA stretch band with very little to no wear. (All the links seem to be factory tight) It does have a few light scuff marks and looks unpolished. The owner who still has the full set 5512 submariner( which is a beauty) thought he would be diving so he drilled a hole in the clasp to put a bolt into it so he would not lose it when diving. (His own version of a fliplock band in 1973.) Needless to say he tried diving once and wasn't what it was cracked up to be. A month later he bought a leather band and changed it and put this one away. 10 years ago I bought the band but was told the sub. was promised to a son. So what I have here is an authentic 1972 USA stretch 5512 band with basically no wear with a hole in the clasp. Price is $1400. US and returns will be accepted if not as pictured or described.
