Offering for sale one of the first milSubs I acquired for my collection many years ago!
The watch is a British Royal Navy issue Submariner ref. 5513 from the 3927*** batch of watches issued in the mid-1970's. I had the watch fully serviced at Rolex UK in 2006, and the watch has nestled in my prized collection of milSubs since!
The watch has a stunning original T-circle milSub 5513 dial with matching tritium Mercedes pattern hands; "battle-scarred" original Rolex 60 minute marker milSub bezel (replaced luminous bezel "pearl"); and original fixed strap bars, although a bracelet has been hooked over the bars and worn for quite some time!
The caseback is engraved with the Royal Navy issue marks and 1976 date of issue, however the caseback has been crossed with another milSub from the same batch during a past service. Sadly, a genuine watchmaker's mistake, but not an uncommon occurrance when a group of milSubs went into the workshops for overhaul. The caseback is therefore engraved inside with a case number around 200 numbers away from the number on the watch mid-case.
The watch is priced accordingly at GBP £36k to reflect the issue of the caseback, but represents good value for a genuine British milSub! I'm happy to consider possible part-exchanges.
The watch (and me!) are located in north-west England. Seven day no-quibble refund period (watch to be returned in the same condition as when sold!)
