Critical replies are not necessary

I think some of the responses here are quite harsh. To be fair, when you eat out, you can never guess how long they will take to serve your food up. Eating in a social situation is not only about food, it's about the company. To wait 10 minutes for the pills to work after your food's been served up leaves you in a very awkward situation when others have started eating.
