Sighting in McCreary County, KY-Whitely County, KY 2/20/03

by JWC/BWS (no login)

Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003 at approx. 8:45 pm. I was traveling home from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY to my house in Pine Knot, KY. along Kentucky Highway 92. Near the county line (McCreary-Whitley) I saw something move in the bushes ahead and I assumed it was a Deer, as they are plentiful here and are apt to cross the road in front of you during this time of year. As I got closer, I saw that it was not a deer. Whatever it was "stood" up and appeared to be about 7 feet tall and it had a grayish colored hair which covered it's body. It looked right at me and it's eyes were very large and seemed to have a reddish type color to them (maybe just cause it was getting dark). Anyway, I was petrified and at this time I was only maybe 30 feet from it. It grabbed it's head and seemed to "rant" as if it was mad, hurt, or something. It totally freaked me out and literally almost scared me to death. I floored my trusck and drove on home scared to death. Hesitant to tell amyone this story (not wanting to appear to be crazy), I have only told my cousin and my wife and I have told another Bigfoot group. This was an scary experience. I just dont know what to think. There had been some other sightings in this area when I was a kid that I heard about but on that Thursday, I saw something that defies explanation in my mind. I guess I'm posting here to see what you guys think and if there were any other reports in this area that night.
Thanks,
JWC and BWS

Looking for Professional BF Hunters

by Brandon (no login)

Are there any profesional Bigfoot hunting organazations in the western pa area?
I have a huge problem that needs to be dealt with and the stratagies that I have been employing so far have been unsucessful. I am a former Army Ranger so I know what im doing but these things are incredibly good and I am not able to deal with the numbers of them on my own nor do i think it wise to even attempt it without the help of other pros. There are at least 4-5 if not more of them and I am not sure what there capabilities are at this point. The only thing I do know is that they have incredibly good senses, are very intelligent and also very skilled hunters.

If there are any orginizations (profesional only) then please post here and i will get in touch with you.

Thanks

I'd like to know more

Brandon

I'd like to know more of what you are experiencing out there. I'm in Central PA. If you are looking for help e-mail me at enbergm@msn.com. We can talk it over and at the least maybe I can give you some advise on ballistics that you don't usually hear about. If something is happening that makes you uncomfortable to be out there alone then listen to your instincts. This is not always the fun and fuzzy weekend diversion that some people make it out to be. A half-ton of irritated animal will make you dead very fast. Be careful.

update?

by (no login)

hey...was just curious if there was any change in your situation. I think everyone who read your post was at least a bit interested. I live in Northeastern Ohio, and would have liked to bring a couple of my hunting buddies up there to help you with your problem, but I was a little late coming to this site.

What about the storms in Texas/Louisiana

by minime (no login)

With activity in the Gulf Coast region fairly good for Sasquatch type creatures. Would the resent storms help or hurt efforts to locate or find evidence.
