I created an account for my boyfriend..so it's a girl this time...anyway, Itamar holds Dutch and Israeli citizenship, but the US doesn't recognize duality. We want to get him into the US for a while...maybe 6 months to a year, but don't know how to go about it. Does anyone have a suggestion? I don't know how "work visas" work. I'm sure we could find him a job...I'm clueless, please help!

Have you considered a J-1 trainee visa for your boyfriend?
A J-1 visa would allow him to spend up to 18 months in the US participating in an internship/practical training program.
