Tourist Visa

Hello,

I am Romanian and I have my interview for a tourist visa in a few weeks. I have an affidavit of support from my boyfriend, who is a US born citizen. Based on the requests of the affidavit, he also sent me a statement from work and a bank statement, as well as copies of his life insurance and car ownership document. We've spent just over two weeks together, once in Paris and then when he came to visit me in Romania. He sent me copies from his passport pages with the stamps.
I graduated from university a couple of years ago and I am now working for an important American company in Romania. As properties, I have my apartment. However, I don't really have any savings to show, so I don't know if it's a good idea to bring a bank statement for the interview since it wouldn't show too much money. All my relatives live in Romania.
What do you think are my chances of getting the tourist visa? Are there any additional papers that you can advise me to bring to the interview?

Thank you very much for your help.
Laura

It seems that you are well prepared, although the material to provide depends upon your particular circumstances. As a general rule, you want to provide as much documentation as possible establishing your ties with Romania.

One item that you did not list is a letter from your employer stating that you will be returning to your job after your trip to the US. You could also take pay slips for as far back as possible to establish your work history.
