Sponsorship on Disability Pension

I'm Australian and my fiance is an American citizen living in the States on a full disability pension. I also receive an Australian govt superannuation pension, which would still be paid to me if I lived in the States. Would my pension be taken into consideration when deciding if he can sponsor me? I'm aware of the poverty level for determining sponsorship, with his pension and mine combined we would make the 125% of the poverty level. (I think it's 125%).

Your disability pension cannot be counted as part of your fiancé’s income for purposes of the Affidavit of Support. It, however, could be considered for purposes of determining if you’ll become a public charge.
