DV Case Processing

Congratulations on winning the lottery! To answer your questions:

1) One Affidavit of Support for your entire family should be sufficient.

2) You can follow the progression of DV case processing through the Department of State’s Visa Bulletin, which lists the cases to be processed for the next 2 months:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html (click on the link for Current Bulletin)

3) If you are going to show that you have sufficient financial resources with proof of assets, for a family of 5, you should have approximately $30,000.

Finally, if you haven’t done so already, you should speak to an immigration attorney about your oldest daughter’s eligibility to get her green card. Because she has already turned 21, if she is not covered by the CSPA (Child Status Protection Act), she will not be able to immigrate to the US with you at the same time.

If you’d like to further discuss your case with me, please contact me by e-mail at E.Weiner@immigration-aux-usa.com or my office at + 1 617 889-0215 to arrange for a consultation.
