Hello Mr.Weiner
I'm follow to join.I received my immigrant visa and I have some questions about it.
I received a brown envelope with a paper attached to it (Immigrant Data Summary ).This paper contains some information like name, date and place of birth,Final address in the US.....etc. But the the "Final address in the US" written on that summary contains a mistake in city name(Plainfield instead of so Plainfield)(Zip code is correct). I called the embassy about that mistake and they said no problem,so what is your advice?

When I filed the DS230 part2 ,I answered "Yes" to question 33a&b (I told the SSA that I do not have social security number and I want a one ).My question is do I need to file any other applications or go to social security office after admission to the US ?

Thank you in advance

Congratulations on getting your visa!

When you arrive at the airport and are processed at secondary inspection, make sure that your correct address is entered into the system, otherwise the Post Office may not be able to deliver your I-551 card (i.e., your green card).

As for your Social Security Number, it should be processed automatically after you arrive in the US. If you don’t receive your card within 3 or 4 weeks, check on its status with your local SSA office.
