Hi, my name is Rhys and im a 27 year old UK citizen who is desperately looking to move out to the USA to live and work.

I am currently in a relationship with a US citizen of the same sex so unfortunately an idea of citizenship through spouse is not recognised, which is highly disappointing.

I am currently on both B1/2 and C1/D visa as I work for a UK airline as a flight attendant. I am not eligible for sponsorship through spouse, no family in US, have no employment sponsors, no degree or any kind and no money to invest, so my options are limited.

Is there anything that i can do to obtain the correct visa's to allow me to live and work in the USA??

I would be greatful for any help that you are able to give me. I would like to further myself and enjoy a better life in the USA. I spend alot of time there currently with my partner and I see it as my home now, I just wish this was the case.

Thanks in advance.

Ugh! Unfortunately US immigration law does not recognize same-sex relationships, and if you were born in the UK you can’t participate in the Green Card Lottery either.

Your only option would be to apply for a work visa or an investor visa. If your current profession doesn’t allow you to envisage sponsorship for a work visa, perhaps you could consider returning to school for further education which could then open your employment options.
