Hello.
I'm traveling to the US (from Ireland) for 2 months this year and I was wondering what documents and information I need to have to satisfy immigration that I will be returning after these 2 months. I am going soley for pleasure and don't plan on working. I will have enough money to support myself and am staying with my friend (a US citizen) in California.
Any information on this would be very helpful.
Thanks.

Unless you’ve recently spent a lot of time in the US, you really don’t need to travel with any special documentation. If you do take documentation, however, it should provide proof of your ties to Ireland (family ties, work, property, etc.).
