Ms. Karen, please answer a question for me.....

I am new at this and in total awe of your hair. That said, I figured you were the perfect person to ask. What do I need to know to put my hair up wet (feel free to treat me stupid and tell me anything you can think of)? I am just terrified that I will really tear it up. I have your little pins to hold the bun at home, but is it safe? I know, it is probably a stupid question, but I have had to cut 30 inches once. I don't want to do it again.
