Finally, FSH does fluctuate. I have been as high as 27 and as low as 8.8 (not for a while though). I haven't taken or done anything to try to lower or that might adversely impact and it still fluctuates quite a bit for me. Many women on this board have a variety of things they have tried to lower FSH and I am sure they will share them with you. When I hit 27 (this year when I turned 35), basically my RE said that even IVF would be a challenge. I went to another RE for a second opinion who did a Clomid Challenge and she also said that I would not have been a good IVF candidate that month due to very low egg count (I did have a ~13 FSH that month). However, I found out a few weeks after that I was pregnant! Don't give up - it can happen and it seems to happen more than doctors realize. Good luck!
