I was just diagnosed with DOR w/ FSH of 18 on Monday. My RE has given me a 10-12% chance of having a live birth via IVF and only a 5% chance w/ IUI. I am 37 years old and he has stated that my eggs are that of a 45 yr old woman. I am beyond devastated. I feel so sick, upset, and I don't know what to do. I have looked into acupuncture, chinese herbs, diet, etc and I have an appt w/ a clinic next week. My RE has said that he will support me 100% in whatever decision we make and will do IUI & IVF if we choose to. We have decided to go ahead & do the IUI and see what happens. Am I wondering if there are any other ladies out there w/ similar circumstances and what has your outcome been? p.s. my husband has no fertility issues
