Yup, absurd..

Obviously so many people are upset by her, they can defend her, since the reaction was a buildup from all her past history, but her threat is indefensible and they should block her for this reason alone. Most of the people know the truth, and honestly, most of the people defending her have lost some of their own sensitivity because they have been out of this hell for longer, IMHO.
