ive been stressing out about taking DHEA for awhile so i called me RE about it. besides the fact that i couldnt understand half of what he was saying (serious, the accent is thick, at least to me...and when im on the phone with him forget it). the just of it, that i got, is that it cant hurt but he didnt think it would really benefit me. i told him that i just met a friend who had really low AFC, starting taking DHEA, and her last IVF cycle she had 24 follicles (i think half were retrieved though). ...and then i couldnt understand what he said in response to that.
im not going to take it, for now. he did say that it might take up to 3 months to even see a benefit. he's not against it. but he wasnt telling me to take it either.
