And I believe the docs at Cooper don't want to aspirate simple cysts. It's considered an unnecessary "surgery" and they would rather have the cyst shrink on its own. I seem to remember that they thought opening up an unknown sac of stuff in the abdomen was not wise when they had no way to know the contents, whether it was an infection etc and opening it would make it spread. It's just easier to let it fade out by itself which it does 99.9% of the time.. It doesn't hurt to ask them yourself their opinion yourself.
