Second, as for your question about whether or not FSH needs to go down... I don't know the medical reasons. I do know that my RE doesn't get too worked up about my FSH unless other things - estrogen, follicles, etc - are also out of whack. If my FSH is high, but my estrogen is normal, rises like it should, and I get a mature follicle, then he says its ok.
