If your insurance covers it go with Cornell if you like Dr. D.
As far as Check the office thing is really no big deal, I think it's just better to warn people before they are unpleasantly surprised that is it not super slick. But, that is why they are so much less expensive!
I really like Dr. Check and his folks but I live in NYC, if I had insurance for it I would totally go with Dr. D, the commute down to Dr. Check is a big strain.
I have not been to Cornell but people speak so highly of them and it is so much easier to get to. The train from Boston to NYC is one of my favorites! Look into a possible multi-ticket and signing up for the Amtrak rail program. Good savings, so much nicer than driving and you can get stuff done on the train!
