Yes, I did an IUI. They put almost 200 million sperm back in me post-wash. They did not trigger me, though. It is my understanding that I most likely would not have released all of those follicles without a trigger. I do think that the reason my ovaries have been killing me though is because they must have gotten big and swollen with the eggs. Now that I am 4DPO, it is slowly getting better.

I asked the RE about the affect of birth control and he blew me off. I don't see why it could not affect the results when some women don't even have a period for 6 months after coming off of birth control! Plus, my first period (the one right before my initial CD 3 tests) was barely a period. I used 1 tampon and then it was gone in like literally a day. I have never in my life had such a short period. Before the pill, my periods were 5 days or so. The period that I had before my second set of tests was more substantive--it was 3 days--and the results were (obviously) better.

If I don't get pg after Clomid/IUI, I think I'm going to go med-free a couple of months and get re-tested. In the meantime, I can do accupuncture and clean up my lifestyle so I am good to go for more fertility treatments if the results are still bad here in a couple months. Frankly, even if I have DOR, it seems like alot of women have success with accupuncture.
