I didn't realize Dr. B was pregnant. I am supposed to do a phone consult with her if I try and cycle there again and I've been putting it off for months. I'm so glad to know that because I may have to do it quickly or plan to wait a couple of months. I can understand your concerns, but hopefully she is comfortable doing the surgery or she wouldn't do it. I guess that is a judgement call on your part. Yikes. If it isn't one thing to worry about, it is 20, isn't it? I do know my dentist was still doing procedures (very involved, including root canals) on patients when she was VERY pregnant, multiple times. It didn't seem to bother her at all. So, hopefully, Dr. B is the same way.
I sure hope your insurance covers the surgery. I would think ultimately they would considering the circumstances, but I hope you don't have to spend time justifying it to them.
