Hi Lisa. I had a high fsh of 10.7 at age 39, and had one RE tell me I'd likely never have kids using my own eggs. I did 3 iui's and 2 ivf's, where I was classified as a "poor responder", getting only one embryo to transfer each time.
I ended up getting pg on my own right before a planned ivf#3, just as I was turning 41. That bfp is now a two year old boy, and I'm pg again at the age of 43, 30 weeks along with what looks to be a healthy girl.
Definately find yourself a high fsh friendly RE, and also look into supplements and things. I really think those made a difference for me. Here's a link to my posting about the bfp for this pregnancy, which includes a link back to my posting for my first bfp -http://www.network54.com/Forum/53068/thread/1329362574/Cautiously+sharing+my+success+so+far+%28pg%2C+m-c%2C+prev+success+ment%27d%29+-+long
Best wishes to you.
