I am not desensitized to violence ...

...and you are not desensitized to violence and we can teach our children to be respectful and make this world a better place and not feel powerless. I understand what you mean, but you do not need to be afraid. I don't know if you have a relationship to God or not - sometimes that helps. It is also good to remember that for people of color in the south it was a terrible place to live in the 50s and 60s and before.

I am deeply saddened by the tragedy but it would probably help if fantastic wonderful people like you and I and most of the wonderful ladies here realized that we do have power and we do not have to let a minority make it a challenging world for the rest.
