Response to I'm sorry that you are going through this too

He didn't give me a follie count. Just said that there are follies present (I saw them myself in the ultrasound) with 2 normal looking ovaries..or so they say.

The u/s tech told me that this doc has a history of giving out the worst case scenarios. He told a patient she had cancer and would need a full hyst.! What!? BADDD JUJU. She requested a different doctor and all they found was a cyst on her ovary that was very treatable. She said the other docs don't think he knows what he's talking about.

So I'm actually grateful I got this doc because now I can just go straight to an RE. Tricare won't cover much, but at least I can get the tests done. I'm also seeing an internal medicine doctor for elevated blood pressure. She is doing more thyroid blood tests next month. And looked at me very very strange when I mentioned that this doc told me I had POF. She said "go to tricare and request a different doctor"

My prayers are that this is all treatable. and I'll be up and running into fertility in a few-6mths. I mentioned a book I'm reading "The mind/body f.ertility connection". It seems pretty much in line with "the i.nfert.lity cure" that I just cracked open. I like that it goes straight to not relying so heavily on FSH tests.

Peace of mind is peace of mind, ya know?
