Response to 37 yo FSH 15 - any point in trying?

But two things:

One: If you go see Check (or any hormone specialist) they can help level your hormones BEFORE you officially start trying to get pg,so NOT part of infertility coverage but falling under hormone issues, and that will be covered by most insurance.

Two: set realistic goals for yourself and keep to them as far as how far you will go, your finances, what you need to do to settle your heart and so on.

Three: have a couple of plans and know your ultimate goal. Is your goal to have a child, so many paths are open, or do you feel that you only want a child who is biologically yours? (Either is fine, but good to know for your heart.) That will help you know your path.

No, all of this does not work out for everyone, not at all. But, you asked if there is hope. Simply from the info you posted there is hope but it might take a while. An FSH of 15 on day 10 is not high, really. A 12 on day three is barely high. Most Dr.s won't count it unless it is high more than 1 month.

Could there be other issues, of course, but you asked if there was hope. Call some of the Dr.s suggested and see what they say.

Yes, it's a hard road but it IS possible. There is realistic hope barring other issues.
