thanks so much for thinking of me!! I'm sorry I have not really had a chance to update on here. After my transfer, I had been staying at my mom's so she could help me out with my son.
Anyway, we actually retrieved 7 eggs, but as I feared, a bunch of them were "over-cooked." At the ultrasound before the ER, one of them was measuring 30.3mm (!) and a bunch were over 25mm. My lining measured 11mm. I think they should have been taken out days before they were, but nothing I can do about it now and no point in stressing over it, right? My eggs seem to grow more like 5mm a day than 1-2mm a day.
So, in the end, only 1 egg fertilized (out of maybe 3 good ones? not sure) and we transfered it this past Wednesday... Nothing left to freeze
I went for b/w and u/s two days ago (as per Co.oper's instructions). My progesterone came back over 40, so I'm very happy I can stay on the suppositories and don't have to do PIO shots! The OOT tech said my lining was a 16mm - she seemed to think it was good- but I hope that's not too thick...? I thought after ovulation, the lining just kinda hovers around where it was. What made it increase 5mm since retrieval? It made a little nervous that 16mm is actually NOT good for implantation. I guess you can really drive yourself crazy with this stuff.
I'm just trying to stay positive and praying as much as I can!
Thanks again for all your support, I will keep you updated!
When are you going for your Beta?
ps. We actually did get in touch with our LOR about doing IVF on Saturday and he said it was allowed. Oh well. At least we know that we can do it if there's a next time
