Hi Jess, so glad you were able to get at least 1 egg. I'm in that same boat, 1 egg retrieved and transferred, go back for beta on the 29th. I don't know anything about lining thickness, hoping somewhere else here can weigh in.
I also really wish I could have had some embys to freeze, but not to be.
My RE has not suggested getting bw for my progesterone level. I'm going to call them on Monday to see if I can do that because all the suppositories and PIO are draining me. Thanks for letting me onto that. I feel like I'm having every pregnancy side effect I've ever heard of without even the comfort of knowing I'm preg!
For me, I did my HCG shot Friday night, and then went in Sunday for blood work and retrieval. Nurse said my HCG numbers were a little low, and if they had had my numbers Saturday, they would have had me do another shot Saturday night. But when I got to retrieval one of the docs said it looked like one of my 2 follies had already released its egg, so I think it's a good thing I didn't do the extra shot.
It's seems like every woman is different, and they wont really know what works for you until you go through this a few times. Here's hoping for both of us it works this time. I can live never having found my optimum protocol.
