I asked him about the P4 protocol and he said they did that because they knew the other P4 stuff didn't work. But I didn't ask him specifically about the dosing of the "new" P4 protocol he gave me. Honestly? I don't think I would ever have thought to ask about it being "so much" because I'd never used these particular P4 meds before so was not familiar with them at all until this cycle.

Overall though I have experienced "lowish" P4, even PG. Unless you've lurked on the PG board you wouldn't know this but Dr. Check kept me souped up on P4 and wanted me to continue until 36/37 weeks (yes you read that right). I did finally stop it at 25 weeks but that was only because my subsequent P4 b/w confirmed I was finally producing sufficiently on my own.

I would definitely ask about it. Crinone is VERY expensive so make sure you know that going in. But if you've never used before, I think it's worth a shot. Tanya was using Crinone for her BFP too.

Hope you are well! I always wonder about you and keep you in my prayers!!
