Hair is a such a big part of our appearances, and it sucks when it doesn't cooperate with us! I hope you got your money back from the salon that did the treatment! Well, the good news is that I don't think hair loss is a side effect of most hormones; if anything, they might help it grow back! Maybe someone can correct me, but I've never experienced any loss as a result from treatment.
A FSH of 20 is not hopeless. I got pg in Jan with a CD3 FSH=22. My pg ended with mc before 9 wk, but my OB is certain it had nothing to do with that and I am too.
Is your RE high-FSH friendly? If they are they might work on lowering your FSH first before jumping into IUI or IVF cycles. Not that having a high FSH means you can't cycle, but it does mean that your ovaries need a bigger jump start to recruit follicles, which would result in a lower AFC for that cycle. Lowering FSH can be done with a regimen of estradiol along with some natural supplements. If your RE is not high-FSH friendly, you need to find one that is because they will just continue to make you sound hopeless.
