Slow Rise BBT after Trigger Shot?

I had a Clomid IUI this month and receieved a trigger shot on Day 12 and had IUI late Day 13. Im on Day 15 now and have only had .1 stair step temps up. I normally go up .5 or more the day after I ovulate. Any thoughts? Maybe progesterone taking a few days to register? I want to make sure I ovulated especially when spending that money!! I had 1 follicle at 23 mm. This is my 1st trigger shot and IUI. THANKS

can you go in...

for a 4 or 7dpo progesterone test? I always do that on IUI cycles just to be sure. Sometimes higher E2 can hold down temps a bit and that has happened to me before when I ovulated just fine, but like you I prefer about a .5 jump.

xoxo, Tracy

I bet I could...

I could do a 7 dpo test but not 4 because of the 4th holiday. Good idea. According to "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" it's pretty normal, but want to make sure.

Slow Rise BBT(Preg ment)

July 2 2009, 10:41 AM

I only did a trigger shot once after temping for a year and my bbt barely went up but I did get pregnant that month. I am not sure if that is the norm or the trigger changes your temps but I was so confused and wondered if we should keep Bding since I didn't have a good temp spike. Then I thought this can't be a good pregnancy with such a small increase but it is/was. I am due in 2 weeks.

Wishing you the same.

That is comforting. Its SO easy to look into every single thing. Especially when I ovulate every months according to the BBT charts with a good .5 increase. CONGRATS and I hope everything continues to go smoothly.
