How bad is a baseline e2 of 79?July 5 2009 at 7:13 PM | Anonymous (no login) |
| My fsh is 6.3. My afc is 8, but 1 follcle is 11.5 and a couple are 10.The rest are <10. Also, my p4 is high- 2.3. I read that higher p4 value has lower chances of pregnancy. This value could probably be because I was on progesterone supps till cd1 morning. I got a full flow in the afternoon. But my CD2 flow has been quite scanty.

Should I go ahead with an ivf this cycle? I'd appreciate your inputs.
How long does the p4 stay in the system?
Thanks, ladies. |

at the rate we metabolise P4. I've had a couple of high readings at the start of a cycle and I don't actually think it's made much difference at all..
Your E2 is high, but probably cos you have a dominant follicle already with that 11, pumping out estrogen. Did you do any pre-cycle treatment like lupron or estrace or bcps? They can help prevent a dominant, which has the potential to hijack and entire cycle. I think if it were me I'd try some suppression at the end of this cycle and see if next CD2 were better...but if you can't bear to wait, it's not appalling...especially if your couple of 10s step up the plate. How old are you? are you self pay or not? |

I have not had any meds last cycle.Yes, I am self pay and am 32.
IF the cetrotide is added when the lead reaches 14, which will be quite soon because one is already 11.5 - will it sabotage/suppress the follicles?
I am quite new to these meds. I am still waiting for the nurse to call.
Now i am confused as to what to do. Thanks you. |
