So I made an appt at HFI and they booked me with Dr Williams
So he also emailed me and said that their standard protocol is MicroDose Lupron with high stims. I strongly strongly want to avoid this protocol first and is the reason I'm not going with SIRM here in Dallas first. Were you able to really tweak the protocol with HFI and were they open to you? Should I just make sure I go to Gill's office specifically and only see him?
"Our standard protocol for poor responders or patients with an elevated FSH is a
microdose lupron flare cycle with high dose gonadotropin"

FSH 33, AMH .29
4 Chemical Pregnancies
Junky Tubes with endo
Removed Uterine Septum and polyps in 2009
Short LP- Respond well to Progesterone
IUI- BFN
Trying since March 2008 with no children
That is totally the opposite of what they did with me.
I would call them and say that you want to consult with Dr. Gill only and you are willing to meet him in any of the locations (they have several). BTW, there is no reason at this point to think you are a "poor responder".
That's EXACTLY what I thought and emailed him back. I clarified that I simply had high FSH at this point, but had no previous indicators of poor response and was of young age, and was still met with the same email response again that this is "protocol".
Research tells me he's new there, so I will call tomorrow and request Gill specifically. Which office is HIS office?
