OK, Cyst update"

Day 21:

lining good, 12 HH, E2 was 191 and P4 was 18.5

They said that was all good, stay the current course.

But: The cyst, that then they thought was a follicle?
Well, it's a cyst and is THE SAME at 24. UGGG! GRRRR! No change at all, actually it grew a tiny bit. (But, could be it shifted, too, so who knows.)

So, I ovulated *something*, I did it on my own before I took any triggers and I wasted the trigger meds and cost since they did not do anything. I mention this since I know in previous posts I have wondered if triggering could help 'pop' a cyst. Well, not in my case.

So, everything else looks good, I guess. Though is the P4 a bit low? Dr. said it was fine.

And that's the update for my Cysters!

Your P4 is fine!! They like to see over 10 on a natural cycle and over 15 on a medicated cycle. Either way..you are good. As for the cyst, I know that most doctors will not allow a cycle to continue with a cyst, but I know that my Dr in many cases will simply drain the cyst and allow the cycle to continue.

the P4 seems high to me...unless are you on supps? is it supposed to be higher with supps? that's really great, i hope something happens for you this month.

You must have had a good O with your P4 number! Interesting to know that the trigger won't pop a cyst---but damn those things are frustrating!!

So that is why it is up. Glad to hear it's OK, for some reason I had 30 stuck in my mind... I just imagine these things sometimes!

Drain??? The cyst? Must be similar procedure to egg retrieval? NO THANKS! I'll sit out a cycle and take BP's!

DH also suggested that, if this cycle is a no go, and since the cyst is not getting any bigger or doing anything, asking if we could ignore it for one more cycle. Our insurance resets in late October and we'd like to get in one more cycle before that killer deducible makes us reevaluate what we are doing after that.
