Hi Ladies...Well, I just took another test this morning and there is a second line. It is faint, but it's definetely there. I didn't have to search for it like I did yesterday. It showed up within the 3 minutes. I just don't get it becaus my period was due yesterday...well if I count back 28 days from my last one. It's not really due until tomorrow if I count back from ovulation. I'm just worried that it should be darker by now. When I had my mc it was also pretty light. I don't wanna mc again. Any thoughts??

I'll just be super excited for you!! My only thought is that on the over-the-counter tests they note that the percentage of a "correct" response goes up the closer you get to your actual date of AF (which I'm guessing you know already) and certainly goes higher once over that. I would wonder if you're just getting closer to that point, but I understand why you feel cautious. Your beta is tomorrow, right?

I don't know much about when the lines should be getting darker or how dark they should be at this point because I have never had one be positive, but if you can see a darker line today it seems to be that it would be a good thing! Your beta is tomorrow, right? I have been thinking a lot about you and hoping this is it:)

Yes, see what your beta is but you can let yourself get a bit excited! Yes, there is a long road ahead but for right now, it's positive!

My first few were not so dark, no worries! Remember, the little eggy can float around for a while in there before settling and then take a while to effect the rest of your body, that is why it's always different.

But, for today, you got a POSITIVE!

A line is a line!

...that you used a frer (first response 6 days sooner) and that you had to look for the second line but it was in fact there, i knew it was positive ; ) frers dont have evaps.
frers are the post reliable tests imo by far and they detect such small amounts of hcg. congratulations, you are pregnant!!

The line should be light at this point since it's so early. Will the blood test be able to detet it for sure if the hpt is barely detecting it??

My tests got lighter some days even with triplets. I took 3 and they varied in color despite dpt.

yes...the bloodtest will be able to detect it...i dont know how early you are though...what dpo are you? (when was your retrieval?)

I knew it too..an FRER evapis VERY rare. What some get is a light grey line that they can see as the urine passes the test strip but then it disappears. Do not worry about the lightness of the line...what's important is that it got darker from yesterday. Congrats and good luck with your beta!!

How many days past trigger are you now? I got my first faint bfp exactly 12 days post trigger after getting a negative at 10 days past trigger. I always used first response early result.

yes, 13dpo...that's why I feel a little concerned that line is faint...I would think it should be darker by now...no?? I'm just afraid it's going to be another chemical. Although I did start craping at 9dp0 and have been on and off sense...hoping thats a good sign

well...i mean how faint is it? i think sometimes people have different perceptions of what faint is you know? and it's hard with frer bc they are sooo sensitive! i mean, at 13dpo it doesnt need to be as dark as the control or anything. i totally understand your concerns though - ive been there as well with m/c and frer. it's nerve-wracking. good luck at your beta, i hope you have a solid number! : )
if you want to drive yourself nuts, you could go to fertilityfriend.com and put in 13dpo with frer and see what comes up - you cant go by it, only for fun!

No, the trigger is long gone, if your getting any pink your pregnant...Congrats!

50 would be great but they are different for everyone, no worries. The big thing is that they double every 70 hours, where they start can really change from person to person!
