Is there always a correlation between afc and fah level?April 13 2012 at 5:30 AM | Hadas (no login) |
| Hi everyone
Does the antral count always correspond to the fsh level (ie low afc/high fsh) or not necessarily?
Thanks! |

My AFC was always 2-5 and my FSH lingered in the 7s. |

My fsh is usually around 7 and my AFC is 3. At one point I tried to get into a clinical trial and they had me do a day 3 workup to see if I qualified. My fsh was 26, AFC 7 and the follicles were all around the same size. Best count I ever had. Failed out of the study but I really wish I would have proceeded with ivf that month.
i do believe that once you reach a high fsh you can expect lower follicle counts all around. |

My highest FSH was 18.2 and I always had AFC of about 12-16 every cycle ...except my last. |
