In two weeks my estradiol went from 10 to 227 Fsh down to 9 . I was told stop estinly and BD. does that mean I am o'ing? I have one lead follicle but nurse said small for estradiol 227. I don't want to stop hoping but can it be an active cyst? Whatever it's I m crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!!!!
And yes it sounds like you are ovulating. I'm curious about something- did you do previous monitoring cycles and if so, was your E2 lower, higher or about the same as this cycle? I've done 4 Estinyl cycles and feel that my E2 is way higher on these cycles. And I too have had follicles that measure small for the E2 level. Just wondering if there's a correlation to the Estinyl....
If your LH was lower and you see it rising to 15.5, then you are likely about to surge or you have just surged and it is falling. For most of us, it needs to go over 20 to trigger a follicle, but there are always exceptions. Did it get tested prior to this? If so, how long ago and what was the result?
E2 is 300 , LH is 16 , Fsh 9.
They didn't say the size of the follie on the message.i stopped the estinly yesterday. They want. E to go for a post coital test wasn't able to schedule one. Is it true that you have to have sex 90 minutes prior to the test?
Just talked to the nurse she got me confused and upset they want me go for another blood and u/s tomorrow my LH is not rising she said per blood I may not be ovulating but per the u/s I am. My estradiol is still rising and she said estradiol is good it's not our concern it's your LH. I guess it's over.
I'm not sure what to make of that. What made the nurse think you O'd based on your u/s? Was the follicle smaller today? You need a surge to ovulate- whether it is from a trigger or your own body's production of LH. Your LH doesn't seem high enough to surge, but maybe if your LH was really low to start with it could've been a surge- I just don't know- sorry I'm not much help:(
What was your progesterone level today? I think most places say if it's above 3 that's indicative of ovulation.
I hope you get a more definitive answer tomorrow. I know how frustrating this is!!
I'm sorry you are upset. Do you have your b/w numbers and any info on the u/s? It could help us figure out what is going on. I think it is still a very good sign that the E2 is going up, but I'm wondering what the the u/s was showing.
I know you are not on Cetrotide, but I do want to point out that I had a very interesting cycle one time where my LH in the b/w never showed a surge, yet I ovulated two follicles. I was taking Cetrotide and also doing OPK's. I saw a surge on the OPK, but never get one on daily b/w. I believe that my LH was surging at one point, but was slammed down by the Cetrotide by the time I did b/w. So, even though the b/w never showed the LH surge, as my E2 started dropping, my P4 started rising and my u/s showed that my two follicles did shrink. The P4 confirmed ovulation. The sad thing is that I was trying to do a natural IVF retrieval cycle and I believed I was ovulating, but the doctors didn't believe me because my LH wasn't showing a surge. But I did and their P4 test and u/s did confirm it. I'm telling you this just to let you know that sometimes strange things happen that aren't as obvious to the doctors.
So, if you can, give us as much data as you can and let us help you analyze it to the best of our ability. I know it is hard not to be upset, but no matter what happened or is happening, I see a very positive in the fact that your E2 went up so much.
LH is 16 it was 13 on Tuesday . She said LH is their only concern e2 310 .my p2 was 0.8 yesterday I asked the nurse she said they don't care about p4 or the Fsh LH is not rising. But the thing is how m I ovulating per u/s but not per b/w just doesnt make sense I already lost the hope. It hurts to see prego women doing glucose test at the lab last 5 days SUCKS !
I am going to ask the lab tomorrow to give me a copy of the results so i ll know the size of the follies.
Forgive my tired brain for not remembering, but I thought you were working with c.ooper and maybe doing OOT monitoring?
If you are, I'm surprised they aren't leaving you detailed info on your callbacks. They used to always do that, but things may have changed since I haven't cycle there in a while.
I don't know what your OOT monitoring situation is, but if you can, definitely try and get your u/s results from the place that is monitoring you. They may be reluctant, but it depends upon the facility. The same goes for the b/w. C.ooper used to be willing to give your facility permission to send you the results and I used to be able to get my local clinic to fax them to me and then I'd fax them to C.ooper. I never had any problem with C.ooper not getting them when I faxed them, plus I got a chance to evaluate and analyze the results before I got my callback.
If you can't get your local monitoring to give you results, leave instructions with C.ooper to please leave all b/w and u/s results on your message machine if you aren't available to take the callback. If you fax a callback sheet to them with this request, it would probably not be forgotten. I used to do the fax callback sheet only with little problem, but I know some ladies have done both a call and a fax for the callback request.
Now, if my memory isn't working well and you are not working with C.ooper OOT, then I don't know if any of this info is of any use to you, but it might be.
They always left me the numbers but somehow last two tests they r oly giving me the estradiol and LH levels.todays message didnt have the numbers they said I ovulated and need to start progesterone And estrace tomorrow.
I got the sono results from the lab I have two lead follies measuring 17 and some small ones measuring between 5 to 9 .
That is what I was wondering about, too. I figured that if Cooper said to BD, they thought ovulation was near. I was wondering if there was a higher LH that they had measured since it does surge and then drop back. Maybe they were just making certain that she covered her bases and had the swimmers already heading for the egg?
