I have an issue with my cycle. I am set to go to NY, but it turns out my retrieval may be earlier than anticipated. This means my husband will not be available during retrieval and I need to find out who can watch my daughter during this time period.

Does anyone know of a daycare for travelers in NY? I found a sitter service, but I am reluctant to leave her alone with someone I don't know. I would prefer a day care setting. Or, if anyone does know of a good sitter service, please let me know.

How old is your child? Has she ever been in daycare before?
i think your best bet is 2 travel w/ a baby sitter because I dont know of any day cares who would take child for one day, they r pretty stringent with enrollments/tuition, etc. is this an option?
IMO I think you should find someone youre familiar with and just pay for them 2 take the trip with u 4 your own peace of mind. you could also try kindercare. good luck 2 u.

These have become popular where I live. I'm sure paperwork still needs to be submitted. I don't know what part of NY you'll be in but I did a google search for "drop in daycare NY" and a bunch of stuff came up. I also agree with the PP to bring a sitter with you if you can. Good luck!
