Two AF 12 days apart after almost 2 years absent AF

Hello all, I'm not new here, but can't remember login info. I tried searching, but no luck.

I just started synthroid again about a month ago. I am a non responder, high fSH, have been diagnosed with Severe DOR and POI and haven't had AF for almost two years..in fact, I've had maybe one or two normal cycles in the past 3 years naturally. I miraculously had a 2 day normal bright red AF in the beginning of March....then a brown light AF 12 days later. I had sore nipples, mood swings, etc. I chocked it up to be just side effects of thyroid meds, which is probably the case...but, I have been on them before and haven't seen AF at all. I haven't bothered to check FSH or anything in forever, because I figured it was pointless. Negative Hpt as of this weekend with brown AF.

Should I be concerned? Like underlying medical condition? Or... I realize my bleak situation, but could this mean the possibility of fertility? Like should I BD just in case asap? Is my body waking up for a moment? I had noticed ewcm blobs a month prior before the synthroid. I havent had dryness, Hot flashes, or anything else.

I had given up...have given up...on my fertility and am planning DE or adoption. This just happened out of nowhere. I am a lot less stressed out, have a loving and willing partner now, and realize not to get my hopes up. Just need some input.

I have a gyn appt first week of April.
Appreciate any help.

Not sure, maybe just a side effect of new medication, but I have regular ol' DOR and have had regular periods for years while being 'fertility challenged' - my son via DE is 3 - good luck on your journey happy.gif

Probably right!

At least, I know the medication is working! I'm severe DOR/POF and hypothyroid, so I know DE will be in my future, but I'm glad my uterus is getting some kind of workout in the meantime. Congrats on your little man!

Thanks - it's so cheesy but true - can't imagine having any other baby then the sweet one I got - was just a rocky road to get there!
