I would like to know if anyone diagnosed with POF or DOR ever discovered the cause?
I've done some reading and found that it can be caused by radiation, chemotherapy or certain autoimmune conditions.
In most cases if a women of reproductive age required chemo or radiation she would be advised to freeze her eggs beforehand though.
Im quite amazed to see how many young women are dealing with this diagnosis and am trying to figure out why.

The "surgeon" who did this to me never told me that it was not recommended for Young fertile women. it's a known factor of POF. Before the procedure i was totaly fine.
Never found out, but...

But, despite most doctors denying it, I wonder if long-term (over a decade) use of the pill has something to do with it. (I never felt right on the pill, and had tons of side effects. When I complained to doctors, they would just try to switch me to another brand).
