Thank you
Is there any way you could *move* offending posts into the correct forum?

Yes, but it's time and effort.

I have deleted one thread. I do not wish to delete further posts, so I ask that people be mindful of the rules of this forum.
Thank you.

I think part of the reason is that the questions forum does not require login, and the others do. For those of us using dial-up modems, this may motivate us to use this board more than the others.

I will leave the above post where it is. It serves as an example of the immaturity that leads to the removal of posts.

Will all those who are pro-metric, or those who would like metric to replace the imperial measurement system, who also think that "euric" is a good ambassador to the metric cause please post their names below.
If anyone finds "euric" posts in any way informative please post their names below.
And if anyone thinks that Euric's method of posting entries while using other people's post names is clever and/or humorous please post their names below.
Please can we get this list drawn up ASAP?
Here is the list

Our new policy now is to delete all threads that make FFU look bad and us as supporters of FFU look like old coots and fuddy-duddies. We don't want casual visitors to come here and see anti-imperial postings and become swayed by them.
Imperial is losing the war as it is, and we don't want to give further ammunition to our enenmies.
I can only say, viva Democracy!

Ok, so that's one supporter
"Metre" (otherwise known as Eric).
Any other takers?
P.S. Nice to see BWMA allowing people to post messages that claim that BWMA censor and delete critical posts, while those people post undeleted (and rude/crass) criticism of BWMA!! ROTFL.
Right - back to the survey. Come on! Any more people support Euric? Are there any other people who would like to add their name to the list? Come on, we've got Euric and Eric so far.
Martin? No?
Conrad? Perhaps you? No? Ok.
What about Richard? Perhaps you would like t... sorry? Ok.
Hmm, maybe some pro-choicers then....
Bryan? ... ... Sorry didn't catch the word you said before "off"
Bud? Oops GMT! Might not have logged on yet....
SOMEONE
S*O*M*E*O*N*E must want to join Euric and Eric?
Time's running out! Add your name ASAP below. If you need to, scan up for the criterior

Face the facts Steve! Nobody supports you, just yourself! Nobody thinks my posts are rude or crass, just you.

Euric, whilst I don't necessarilly agree with Steve's views on imperial and metric, at least he presents his arguments in a decent manner. You do yourself no favours by pretending to be other people.

Richard - "Euric" is immune to this.
And by being in this list I recognise you're not adding your name to the "Euric Fanclub" list.
However, look at his post carefully.
Do you note something?
It's not Euric.
We are in the perculiar state of someone posting as Euric, who isn't Euric.
It's someone who posted here many moons ago, do you remember? Where the thread just went on and on about a somthing to do with me having the last word and posting quotes from metricsucks.
His post name is John, but not to be confused by the 18yr old John who's posted here and metricsucks.
I'll try and see if I can did out the post that I'm talking about and "probe" it (sending it to the top of the queue, if you get my drift)

Personally, I don't really give a toss, just wish everybody would stop doppling.

If you were to apply those new rules to previous postings you'll get rid of 99.9% of the threads.
Which means this forum is going to be pretty spare in future.

I have deleted about four threads and ten individual postings.
I am also considering a wholesale deletion of everything posted in the past six weeks, followed by a password restriction.
The 99% to which you should refer should be on the Great Debate forum.
