What's odder is that you can see the temps in Fahrenheit - but the speeds still say kph (kilo-pico-hours?!?).

Its probably a software "thing".

Well spotted Steve. You are learning slowly. Maybe one day you will understand why they should have written "km/h".

when I went to the site, all the temps were in degrees Celsius. If I wanted old fashion units, I had to click on "Show temp. in °F". In other words, "F" is the afterthought and degrees Celsius is the primary unit.

See below:

Current weather issued at 04:23 Oct 15, 2004
Rather cloudy with only a few clear intervals
1 kph S wind
6°C Show temp. in °F

Daily summary
Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday

Rather cloudy with risk of patchy light rain Cloudy with showers, heavy at times Cloudy with showers, heavy at times Cloudy with showers, heavy at times Rather cloudy with only a few bright intervals

High 14°C High 11°C High 11°C High 11°C High 9°C
Low 5°C Low 7°C Low 5°C Low 5°C Low 2°C

'High' refers to daytime maximum, 'Low' to night-time minimum

This is the only ocassion when Calry gets disturbingly excited.

When a UK organisation says a metric word.

Quite alarming really.

And hugely sad.
