REPLY: Or did you mean, not heard *of* pip since I've been back? Now there really *is* someone who has gone AW/OL - something about 'research' and 'a bridge', wasn't it?

....and white vans!
Personally, he's more than welcome back! If nothing else but to push the terrible twins into further obscurity! |

While you were away admiring the imperial road signs of the Carribean, Tony has been persuaded that metric is better and has begun the daunting task of replacing Britains imperial signs with metric ones.
Bryan has persuaded his student union bar to sell beer in litres instead of pints and hasn't been seen since. |

Exceptt hat the signs in the Carribean are metric. SteveH admitted to it. Must have hurt to do so.
I'm wondering if Steve spent his time actually converting kilometres to old fashioed units or just did it the simple way and think of each kilometre as a mile. |

Stop losing the plot *again* Carly - lol!
The signs in St Lucia and Bahamas are imperial 100% (except when you alter my posts, that is!!)
In Barbados its a right old mix. If you'd care to read my posts without altering the text you'd see what the reality is - go on! go ahead now! go re-read them! QUICK - BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.....
BTW - you could always stoop to your "metricsucks" method and simply call me a liar.
That'd sort the argument out good and proper!
Back OT though - Where's Bryan?? (P.S. That last question wasn't to you, euric!) | |
