I was given the link to this site by a friend and have to agree with him: this really is the most amusing site and set of forums. Keep it up, it's very funny.
Any time I want a laugh I just come here and read the SteveH & Erin/Euric/ametrica/John saga, it's great.

I'm missing out on an entreprenurial opportunity here.
Anyone know the number for the patents office?

I really can't believe this site is serious. one could say "get a life", but I think that might be a bit too much "real world". Given me a lot of laughs though, keep it up. I must pass it on. Is the Tony Bennet mentioned here the same one that works with Mr Tangerine Man?

No-one is sure anymore. He used to post pro-UKIP messages, but now posts stuff espousing Veritas.
Personally, I just think he is relaxing from his busy touring schedule.
THE crowd was dressed to the nines, so between the diamonds and the preponderance of lustrous silver hair, the concert hall positively glittered.
And small wonder they had smartened themselves up, for Bennett was, as always, impeccably dressed. He might be of an age with the new Pope, but he can still set female hearts aflutter.
Bennett and his accomplished backing quartet acknowledged the heartfelt roar of approval with broad grins that never dimmed. He launched straight into Watch What Happens, followed by The Best Is Yet to Come. As ever, his approach appears effortless, even conversational. He steps gently into a song as if whispering a secret, then his voice deepens and growls, swelling to fill the room before receding and restoring the intimacy. He never grandstands. Even belting out the payoff lines in Maybe This Time, Bennett showed how a talented interpreter uses restraint to convey emotion, taking a song that’s often an excuse for histrionics and turning it into a moving, even wistful exploration of hope in the face of bitter experience.
Admittedly, his top notes are showing a few cracks, but he’s clever enough not to linger there overlong. And whatever’s missing off the top, Bennett’s lower register remains thrilling and powerful.
If I had to gripe, I’d say that the show wasn’t innovative or surprising. Bennett delivered a greatest-hits package from his 50-year career. But not one person present felt a moment’s disappointment hearing him revisit such classics as Your Cold, Cold Heart, I Remember You and If I Ruled the World, to Stepping Out, Speak Low and, of course, I Left My Heart in San Francisco.
While proving the human voice remains one of the most evocative instruments, Bennett presided over a two-way love-fest that left his capacity crowd enthralled."
I can't see why this genius will not be our next Prime Minister

There appears to be many "Tony Bennets"
I'm sure there was one on a kids TV programme on BBC1 when I was young.

I don't know why I am doing this but just for the record, the following is extracted from an election web site:
http://election.press.net/nominations.html
"288 HARLOW
Robert Halfon (C)
*Bill Rammell (Lab)
Lorna Spenceley (LD)
John Felgate (UKIP)
Anthony Bennett (Veritas)
So you see there were some 1,233 people who liked Tony's voice when he was singing for UKIP in 2001. Now he's got a new contract with Veritas.
So music maestro please - get out there and knock 'em dead Tony!

Watch out for Mr Felgate, he'll be lurking with the hook end of a walking stick ready to pull you off :-)
