Tarantino rides again! Basterds is a fun show to watch, a totally irreverent fantasy about nazi fighters in WW2. It's graphically violent in brief, in several places. Luckily, the violence is telegraphed and you can cover your eyes for a few seconds and miss it if you like. The rest of the pic, some 2 and 1/2 hours flies by. Pitt is almost incidental in this pic, comic relief.
For the record, this is what movies are supposed to be, entertaining.
