I just finished this and what a fabulous strory! As good, in it's way, as The Time Travelers Wife and The Lovely Bones were in theirs. Its the story as told of a 93 year old former circus veterinarian but that's just so much less than what it's about. The author is Sara Gruen, who writes this crotchety old guy with precision and humor. I simply loved this book, well worth your or anyones time. 5 stars.
