This is the FIRST time in 2 years that we were both given a clean bill of health from our family Dr. Dr has told me I can come off colesteral meds and be re-tested in 3 months but feels the diet and exercise have been the possible key..

Rick has been home all week and it has been hard for me to post..He just took the cover off the pool I slipped my foot in and quickly jerked it out..yup it is cold..lol

I believe there are Angels among us, sent down to us from somewhere up above,they come to us in our darkest hour..to show us how to live, to teach us how to give and guide us with a light of love..

it's FREEZING here - cold, windy and raining - and it's supposed to be the same way tomorrow - that's ok - it's friday and i'm home!

next week, all the lawyers at my firm are going on a "retreat" (fancy word for spending lots of money) in florida - so thursday and friday there will be no one there but the secretaries - now you would think they'd give us the time off - at least friday - but nope - we have to be there to "hold down the fort" - it's so ridiculous - it's not like we can practice law or anything - all we'll do is answer the phones - and my boss is a nutcase so he'll be calling me every 5 minutes anyway -

oh well - i guess it could be worse, right? - it will be an easy 2 days - getting paid for sitting there all day -  

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
